Could You be Somebody's Hero?

By Steven L. Anderson, Ph.D., MBA

I want to share a touching story with you.  Most of you do not know this, but I love to bird watch.  This morning, Feb. 25, I added a new species to my life list, a Harris's Sparrow (pictured to the left).  But, that’s not why I am writing this story.  I am writing this because two Amish boys were my heroes today.  Allow me to give you some background on this story.  The two Amish boys I mentioned earlier are named Alvin and Wayne.  These boys live in Holmes County and on Jan. 25 of this year, they saw a strange bird at their feeder.  They quickly identified it as a Harris’s Sparrow, a bird rarely seen in Ohio.  (continue story)

Steve's first book, "The Call to Authenticity", is NOW AVAILABLE on CD for only $10.  Find out how one man discovered the essence of leadership.  Click picture to order.

Leader BITS from Char (Anderson, that is!)

Last evening, Steve and I visited the West Columbus Civitan Club.  Steve was invited to speak to their group on leadership and I usually accompany him if our work schedule allows.

We were so impressed with the love and caring in the room.  This group of individuals embodies the strong values our country was founded on:  love, respect, responsibility for others and a genuine concern for the welfare of all citizens.  (continue story)
