You Gotta Dream

The other day I had lunch with a friend. He owns his own business. He also has an airplane and a house in the Caribbean. I told him that he was living my dream. I also asked him how he made that dream come true. He said, “Bloody Mary”. I said, “What?” He said that Bloody Mary was a character in the movie South Pacific. At one point of the movie she sings a song, “If you no gotta dream, how you gonna make a dream come true?” (continued)

I have a story about dreaming; not the night kind or the day kind but the 24 hour kind. Dreaming that keeps you hopeful and jumping out of bed every morning in anticipation of something wonderful coming into your life.
I was a single parent for 13 years before I met my husband, Steve. I met and dated many men in that period of time, but none them had all the qualities I was looking for in a partner. Oh, I could have settled many times, but I was happy being single and really didn’t want to enter into a permanent relationship with anyone that didn’t “knock my socks off”! (continued)
